Job Description

Appcore Labs is seeking an experienced full time Bookkeeper to work remotely and who is highly proficient with Quick-books software to perform the following functions:


Responsibilities:

  • Full Cycle Bookkeeping.

  • Manage all aspects of A/R, A/P and Billing.

  • Accounts Payable will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions including bills, credit card charges and invoicing client bills, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification.

  • Accounts Receivable will encompass the accurate posting and classification of the daily receivable transactions, preparing deposit slips when needed, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of each day’s transactions.

  • Handle all payroll information using software to run payroll (monthly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly), providing monthly remittance reports on a timely basis and WCB if applicable.

  • Reconcile monthly statements.

  • General Ledger maintenance.

  • Monthly financial reports for management.

  • Perform other general office duties as needed.

  • Assist in all areas of operation as requested by management.

  • Filing GST: providing report to ensure timely filing of GST (quarterly, monthly, or annually)


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • College graduate/post graduate.

  • 7-9 Years experience in bookkeeping with an academic background in either finance, accounting or business management.

  • Familiarity with Post Production or Production accounting is preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)

  • Excellent QuickBooks Pro software.

  • Professional presentation and conduct.

  • Must be responsible and self-managed.

  • Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills.

  • Must be detail oriented.

Must have effective communication skills.
